Day 1

Depart Arusha after breakfast.

You will be picked from your hotel in Arusha and meeting your group and guide before driving through rural landscapes to Tarangire National Park, famed for its towering baobabs and large elephant populations. Begin your game drive along the Tarangire River, a magnet for wildlife such as zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes, especially in the dry season.

Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, leopards, and even the rare fringe-eared oryx. Break for a picnic lunch in the park, then continue exploring the varied habitats from grassy savannah to acacia woodland. As the afternoon light softens, enjoy the golden views and heightened animal activity before heading to your campsite outside the park.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart via the highlands of Karatu, entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Marvel at the breathtaking view from the crater rim before descending onto the vast Serengeti plains. Game drive en route, spotting cheetahs, hyenas, and perhaps a leopard resting in an acacia tree.

The Serengeti’s endless grasslands host incredible year-round wildlife, and depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration. Stop for a picnic lunch, then continue your afternoon drive toward Seronera, where resident game such as elephants and buffalo are common.

Arrive at your campsite in central Serengeti by evening, enjoy a hearty dinner, and listen to the calls of the wilderness through the night.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive when predators are active and light is perfect for photography.

Witness herds grazing and predators on the hunt across the open plains. Your guide will help track lions, leopards, or cheetahs, and you might also spot hippos at watering holes and crocodiles along riverbanks. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your exploration through various habitats, from rocky kopjes where lions rest to open grasslands teeming with antelope.

The Serengeti offers surprises at every turn, with birdlife adding vibrant color to the scene. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and storytelling around the fire. Overnight in central Serengeti campsite.

Day 4

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart Serengeti after an early game drive and breakfast, making your way back through the plains toward Ngorongoro.

Descend 600 meters into the crater, a natural amphitheater packed with wildlife. The crater floor features lakes, grasslands, swamps, and forests, supporting everything from flamingos to large prides of lions. Spot elephants with long tusks, endangered black rhinos, and abundant grazers such as zebras and wildebeest.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool before continuing your game drive until mid-afternoon. Ascend to the crater rim and camp nearby, with sweeping sunset views over the highlands. Dinner and overnight at a public campsite on outside the park.

By afternoon, begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening with wonderful memories and new friends from your shared safari adventure. Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
