3-Day Serengeti Fly-in Safari from Zanzibar Island

Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You’ll land at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00 a.m., where your safari guide will be waiting to greet you with a picnic lunch and ready to begin your adventure. Shortly after arrival, your safari will commence, with a lunch break around 1:00 p.m. Once refreshed, you’ll continue your game drive, on the lookout for Serengeti’s famous big cats as well as a variety of herbivores. As evening approaches, you’ll return to your camp in time for dinner and a restful overnight stay at Serengeti Safari Haven.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the camp, you will set out for a full-day game drive across the breathtaking Serengeti. The landscape here is truly mesmerizing while parts of the park feature seasonally flooded plains, forests, and shrub savannahs, the Serengeti is primarily renowned for its vast grassy plains. Being surrounded by millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

During their great annual migration, these herds thunder across the open plains, sometimes plunging into crocodile-infested rivers, while relentless predators such as lions and crocodiles stalk their every move. After enjoying a picnic lunch amidst the Serengeti’s sweeping landscapes, you’ll continue your game drive well into the afternoon. As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll return to camp, unwinding beside the warm glow of a crackling bushfire. Your overnight stay will be at the comfortable Serengeti Safari Haven.

Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you’ll say goodbye to the camp, complete your check-out, and embark on your final game drive in the Serengeti. Following this last wildlife adventure, you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for your mid-morning flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar.
