The journey from Arusha to Lodoare Gate, covering 160 kilometers, is now accessible via a newly constructed tarmac road, making the trip approximately two hours. For those who wish to explore off the main road on a graveled route, a 4×4 safari vehicle is essential when entering the Ngorongoro Crater.

Departure from Arusha is scheduled for 6:00 AM, with the first stop at Lodoare Gate for registration. From there, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a vast natural amphitheater covering 2,590 square kilometers (100 square miles). This unique landscape is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including the Big Five—rhinos, elephants, lions—as well as large herds of zebras and wildebeest.
