Pick-Up and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking

Your adventure begins with an early morning hotel pick-up at around 4:30 AM, with a packed breakfast for the journey. Enjoy a scenic drive to Musanze as you pass through Rwanda’s beautiful rolling hills and watch the sunrise.

Upon arrival in Kinigi, you’ll meet your expert guides and complete the park formalities before setting off on your unforgettable gorilla trek. Once you locate a gorilla family, you’ll spend up to one hour observing these magnificent animals in their natural habitat and witnessing their fascinating social behaviors.

After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some well-deserved relaxation.

Golden Monkey Trekking & Return to Kigali

After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for your golden monkey trekking adventure. Meet your guides for a briefing before heading into the forest in search of these lively and playful primates. Spend time observing their natural behaviors while enjoying the beauty of the lush forest. After the trek, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to learn about mountain gorilla conservation. Return to your lodge for an early lunch, check out, and begin your transfer to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to your hotel concluding your unforgettable Rwanda safari.
