After being picked up from Entebbe, we will drive you to Jinja through the Kampala city center, with a brief stop at Sezibwa Falls. Later, we will drive to Mabira Forest for a nature walk and lunch at a forest hotel. Afterward, we will continue to Jinja for a boat cruise to the source of the Nile at Lake Victoria.

After breakfast amidst the breathtaking sounds of the Nile, we will embark on a drive to the central part of the country and then continue northward to Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch, passing through villages, towns, and roadside markets. At Ziwa, we will check in and have lunch, followed by a rhino trekking experience.

Today we will continue our journey with stunning views as we drive to Kidepo National Park in the northeastern part of Uganda. We will pass through towns such as Gulu and Kitgum, along with several trading centers. You will be welcomed by beautiful rock formations, including Kakene. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and then pay a visit to the local community to learn about their way of life.

After an early morning breakfast, we will drive west toward the northern part of the country, where we will find the longest river in the world and the most powerful waterfall. Upon arrival, we’ll head out for an evening game drive before proceeding to the hotel for check-in and dinner.

Have a hot cup of coffee in the morning before heading out on the game drive with a packed breakfast in hand. During the drive, we will look for animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, kobs, and various birds. Later, enjoy a boat cruise from the bottom to the top of Murchison Falls.

After breakfast in the morning, we will drive to the western part of the country to Kibale. You will pass through towns such as Hoima, Kagadi, and Kenjonjo, driving past tea plantations and enjoying scenic views of the Mountains of the Moon. Stop for walks around crater lakes and swamps along the way.

Get ready to visit the chimpanzee capital: Kibale National Park. After breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing, where you will be divided into small groups and assigned a ranger to lead you into the park. After the chimpanzee trek, you will enjoy a swamp walk in Bigodi.

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and then head out to Kisenyi Plains for a game drive. During the drive, you will visit the salt lake and the craft shop, and you can expect to see various animals such as lions, savannah elephants, hippos, and buffaloes. Return to the lodge for lunch, then go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.

After breakfast at the lodge, we will drive through Kasenyi to the Ishasha sector for a game drive in search of the famous tree-climbing lions, which often climb fig trees. The Ishasha sector is also known for its unique antelope, the Topi. You will then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Park, eating lunch en route.

The highlight of the tour happens today. After an early breakfast, you will head off to the Bwindi Park headquarters for a general briefing and registration, with entertainment by members of the local community. You will then be assigned to small groups and matched with the gorilla family you will trek. After trekking, you will visit the Batwa community in Kisoro.
