Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel or from Entebbe International Airport by your driver-guide and begin your journey to Jinja. The drive takes you through the scenic countryside and the lush Mabira Forest, with a stop at Namawojolo to enjoy Uganda’s famous roasted chicken and nyama choma.

Upon arrival in Jinja, you will check in to your hotel, relax, and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a boat cruise along the River Nile to the Source of the Nile, where the world's longest river begins its journey northwards. As you cruise along the river, keep an eye out for the numerous bird species and enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the Nile.

After the boat ride, you will have time to relax and explore the local craft shops, where you can browse for souvenirs and handmade Ugandan products.

Later, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
