3-Day Gorilla Trekking Safari Experience in Bwindi

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will be picked up by our guide, who will brief you about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable, which is found in the southwestern part of Uganda. Along the way, there is a local drum and craft-making community, so you will visit here. Then, you'll have a stopover at the Equator to take photos, also feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs as you head to Mbarara town, where you will have your lunch. Thereafter, you'll proceed to Bwindi, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. You'll check in at the lodge, relax in the evening, and have dinner.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Following an early morning breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters, where park rangers will provide a briefing before you embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After dividing into groups of 8, you'll spend 2-8 hours in muddy and steep terrain, observing the gorillas as they go about their day. Upon encountering the gorillas, you'll have an hour to take photos before returning to the lodge. In the evening, you can either relax at the lodge or visit the Batwa community to learn about their culture, dance, and hear stories. Dinner will be provided. You'll spend the night at the lodge.

Departure Back to Entebbe

You'll have an early breakfast, check out, and leave the “Switzerland of Uganda” behind. You'll start your journey back to Kampala, passing through rolling hills with terraces. Also, you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through. You'll have lunch in Mbarara and continue to Kampala, arriving late afternoon. The guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport for your flight.
