Early morning, drive to Karo village on the Omo River banks, famous for striking body painting and stunning riverside scenery. Return to Turmi for lunch, then head to Omorate near the Kenya border. Cross the Omo River by canoe to visit the Dassanech people, known for their unique river-based traditions and intricate body scarification. Optional: attend a Hamer bull-jumping ceremony or enjoy an evening village walk to experience daily life and culture.
