Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing by your guide, you will depart in your 4x4 safari vehicle and drive through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, passing Maasai villages and breathtaking highlands. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing into the southern Serengeti–Ndutu region, the heart of the wildebeest calving season. Here, the open plains teem with wildlife, offering incredible opportunities to witness predators in action and herds of wildebeest nurturing their newborn calves. Upon arrival, settle into your comfortable lodge or tented camp, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and soak in the sounds of the African wilderness as your first safari day comes to a close.

Full day in Ndutu Area

Rise early for a full day exploring the Ndutu plains, one of the best locations to witness the wildebeest calving season. With thousands of calves born daily between January and March, predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are never far behind, creating dramatic wildlife encounters. Your guide will take you on morning and afternoon game drives, maximizing your chances of seeing both large herds and elusive predators. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush before continuing your exploration across the open plains. As the sun sets, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and relaxation under the starry African sky.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive in the world’s largest intact caldera. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor, home to a dense population of wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls. In the afternoon, continue your journey back to Arusha, where your safari concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or other destination.
