Your safari begins with a flight at 3:00 pm from Zanzibar after a pickup from the Hotel in Zanzibar or the airport, arriving in Selous in the late afternoon around 4:00 pm. Upon landing, our guide will immediately join you for a late afternoon game on route to the boat tour inside a park.
Boat tour;
In the late afternoon, you'll switch from land to water for a scenic boat safari on the Rufiji River, a perfect way to spot hippos and crocodiles. As evening approaches, you will be transferred to your new accommodation, Selous Safari Lodge, for dinner and an overnight stay just outside the park.

Full-Day Game Drive and fly during evening
Full-Day Game Drive and fly during evening
The day starts with an early breakfast before you embark on a full-day game drive. You'll spend the day exploring the park's diverse landscapes in a 4x4, with a packed lunch enjoyed in the bush.
This is a prime time for wildlife viewing as the animals become more active in the cooler temperatures. After a thrilling drive, you will head to the camp or use a humper for hot delicious lunch and continue with a game drive until 4:00pm you start drive to Mtemere airstrip in Nyerere national park.
