Arrival and Late Afternoon Game Drive

Your safari begins with a flight at 15:30 from Zanzibar after a pick up from the Hotel in Zanzibar or airport, arriving in Selous in the late afternoon around 16:20. Upon landing, our guide will immediately join you for Late afternoon game drive. This is a prime time for wildlife viewing as the animals become more active in the cooler temperatures. After a thrilling drive, you will head to the camp for a delicious dinner and your first overnight stay inside the park.

Full-Day Game Drive and Evening Boat Safari

The day starts with an early breakfast before you embark on a full-day game drive. You'll spend the day exploring the park's diverse landscapes in a 4x4, with a packed lunch enjoyed in the bush. In the late afternoon, you'll switch from land to water for a scenic boat safari on the Rufiji River, a perfect way to spot hippos and crocodiles. As evening approaches, you will be transferred to your new accommodation, Selous Safari Lodge, for dinner and an overnight stay just outside the park.

Morning Derparture

On your final day, you'll have an early breakfast at Selous Safari Lodge. Following breakfast, you'll be transferred to the Mtemere Airstrip for your morning flight back to Zanzibar. Your flight departs at 07:00, arriving back in Zanzibar at 07:50 on arrival you'll be picked up by our driver for the drop off at the Hotel and concluding your two-night safari adventure.
