Transfer from Kigali to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

On this one-day tour, wake up very early in the morning (4:00 am), have your breakfast (or pack/takeaway breakfast), and embark on an exploratory journey from Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda heading to Mgahinga National Park for a day gorilla trekking tour. The journey takes almost 4hrs drive to reach Mgahinga national park headquarters for the briefing about the trek and then start the wonderful gorilla trekking experience.

Briefing about the visit
The briefing from one of the park rangers enlightens you about the dos and don’ts of the trek, and instructions to be followed when you meet the gorillas and after the trek. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park has a famous habituated mountain gorilla family called Nyakagezi. Once you find Nyakagezi Family, you will be allowed one hour with the gorillas. Afterwards, transfer back to Rwanda, drop off at your Hotel or Airport.
