Day 1

Your day begins with a 07:30 hrs hotel pickup in Maun, followed by a 45–60 minute transfer to the NG32 Concession. On arrival, you’re paired with a community poler-guide, locals born and raised in the Delta, allocated on a rotation through the village Community Trust, so your visit directly supports the community.

Drift through lily-lined channels in a traditional mokoro as your guide shares insights and helps spot wildlife. Around midday, stop on a secluded island for a picnic lunch, then head out on a guided nature walk to track game, read spoor, and learn about the Okavango Delta’s ecology. Enjoy the peace and birdsong of the waterways, often with hippos nearby, before returning by mokoro and vehicle to Maun in the late afternoon.
