Day 1
Your day begins with a visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the most important church in Ethiopia, where Emperor Haile Selassie and his wife are buried.
Next, we explore the National Museum, home to the 3.2-million-year-old remains of Lucy, ancient artifacts from the time of Queen Saba, and a rich collection of royal and religious items.
We then visit the Ethnographic Museum at Addis Ababa University, founded by Polish professor Stanisław Chojnacki. Highlights include traditional crosses, icons, and musical instruments.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant such as the Ambassador, known for Ethiopian cuisine and a large garden.
After lunch, we head up to Entoto Hill (3,200m), offering panoramic views of the city. The historic palace and museum here display royal crowns, costumes, and church artifacts.
Our final stop is Merkato, one of Africa’s largest open-air markets.
The tour ends with a transfer to your hotel or the airport.
