3-Day Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater (Fly-in from Arusha)

Flying from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM. You'll board a small aircraft bound for the Serengeti, arriving at the Serengeti airstrip later in the morning. Upon arrival, your safari adventure begins with game drives through the park. In the afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for lunch and a short rest, followed by an evening game drive perfectly timed to enjoy a surreal sunset over the Serengeti plains.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After an early breakfast, you'll head out on a game drive through different regions of the Serengeti, offering another chance to spot diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. You'll return to the lodge for lunch, followed by check-out as you begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. By evening, you'll arrive at Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp. After check-in, enjoy a relaxing dinner and settle in early to prepare for the next morning’s descent into the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in search of the elusive black rhino, one of the most difficult animals to spot. Often referred to as Africa’s “Noah’s Ark,” the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and more, all set against a stunning natural backdrop. In the afternoon, you’ll stop for a picnic lunch at Hippo Lake before continuing with another game drive as you ascend back to the crater rim. You’ll then return to the lodge, check out, and begin your drive back to Arusha.
