Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:15 AM, beginning your game drive in search of the elusive black rhino one of the hardest animals to spot in the area. Thanks to the crater's enclosed floor and open terrain, most other wildlife, such as elephants, buffalo, lions, and hyenas, are easier to observe here than in other parks.

After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, you'll continue with a final game drive before ascending back to the crater rim. From there, you'll return to camp, pack your belongings, and begin the journey back to Arusha town.
