Day 2

Explore Tarangire National Park

Explore Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide from Zepisa African Safaris will pick you up from your accommodation. You will embark on a two and a half hour drive on well-maintained roads to Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which provides essential water sources for wildlife during the dry season. Here, you can witness the gatherings of elephant families by the river, as well as spot other animals like giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators such as lions and leopards can also be seen in the park. Tarangire is well-known for its impressive bird species diversity and ancient Baobab trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before heading to your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, you will journey to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of Ngorongoro Crater, a natural reserve filled with savannah, acacia woodlands, lakes, and swamps. The crater, which was formed when a large volcano collapsed, is famous for its geological wonders and is home to a wide range of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. This is also one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before returning to your accommodation in Karatu.

Lake Manyara Np-Arusha

Lake Manyara Np-Arusha

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located 120km west of Arusha. Despite its smaller size, the park offers a diverse range of wildlife and landscapes. The picturesque park features the Great Rift Escarpment looming over Lake Manyara, which is home to numerous wading birds, including flamingos. Keep an eye out for baboons and elephants in the lush forest and don't miss the opportunity to spot the renowned tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before bidding farewell to your guide. You will be dropped off at a location of your choice, such as Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport, or Arusha Airport.
