Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the vibrant town of Arusha. Your safari briefing will also be provided in preparation for the adventure ahead.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and massive herds of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Look out for lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and over 500 bird species that make Tarangire a birdwatcher’s paradise. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Departure

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife areas. The crater floor is home to nearly all of Africa’s Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a game drive across the diverse landscapes of grasslands, forests, and lakeshores, where lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and many other species thrive. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha or transfer directly to the airport for your onward journey.
