Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will begin the day by picking you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and heading to one of Tanzania’s most unique national parks Tarangire. This park is celebrated for its rich and varied landscape, which features nine distinct vegetation zones. Among its most iconic sights are the ancient Baobab trees some of the largest on the African continent which dominate the scenery and make the surrounding wildlife appear small in comparison.

We’ll stop for lunch at a beautiful picnic site, which features an elevated viewpoint overlooking the river a perfect spot to watch animals gather below, and if you're lucky, even witness a hunt as you enjoy your meal. Later in the afternoon, we’ll continue with another game drive before heading to your lodge for the night.

Among its many permanent residents are giraffes, elephants, impalas, and an impressive number of buffaloes. The lake itself is home to large pods of hippos, adding to the park’s rich diversity. The landscapes here are truly beyond description especially the lakeside game drives, where you’ll have fantastic photo opportunities capturing giraffes and buffaloes against a backdrop of shimmering water and flocks of flamingos. Optional activities like biking or a boat excursion can also be arranged to enhance your experience. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your camp, where dinner will be served.
