Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your budget lodge or campsite in Arusha. Here you will receive a short safari briefing and have time to relax before your adventure begins.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a landscape dotted with giant baobab trees and home to Tanzania’s largest herds of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, where wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest gather. After a picnic lunch in the wilderness, continue game viewing before returning to camp for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the crater, often called the "Garden of Eden," for a half-day safari. Here you can spot rhinos, elephants, lions, and an incredible variety of birdlife. After your picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater rim and head to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
