Fly from Zanzibar – Saadani National Park

Your safari begins with a scheduled morning flight from Zanzibar. 09:40 AM–Depart Zanzibar by scheduled flight
10:10 AM – Arrive at Saadani Airstrip

Upon arrival, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to Saadani Beach Camp, beautifully located between the bush and the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink before taking time to relax and settle into your surroundings. From the camp's elevated viewing tower, soak in panoramic views across the surrounding wilderness, where elephants, giraffes and other wildlife are often spotted even before your safari officially begins.

Later in the morning, travel to the Wami River for one of Saadani's signature experiences—a scenic boat safari through its mangrove-lined waterways. Following the river safari, return to camp for lunch before heading out on an afternoon 4x4 game drive through Saadani National Park. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and a relaxing evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Morning Game Drive – Return to Zanzibar

Wake early for a sunrise game drive, when wildlife activity is at its highest. The cool morning hours provide excellent opportunities to encounter elephants feeding across the plains, giraffes browsing through the acacia trees, buffaloes grazing and predators returning from their nightly hunts.

Your guide will explore different sections of the park, maximising your chances of memorable wildlife sightings while sharing fascinating insights into the ecology and conservation of Saadani National Park.
Return to Saadani Beach Camp for a leisurely lunch and time to relax before your departure.
Later in the afternoon, transfer to Saadani Airstrip for your scheduled return flight to Zanzibar.
