SGR Train to Morogoro and Departure to Mikumi National Park for a Game Drive

Transfer to the SGR Train Station and catch the earliest train at 6:00 am to Morogoro, arriving at 7:40 am.
On arrival at Morogoro Train Station, you'll be picked up by a driver-guide and driven to Mikumi National Park (approx 2 hours). Game drive on arrival until late evening.
Known for its rich miombo woodland savanna and the chance to see lions climbing trees, which is more common here than in other parks, Mikumi is home to a significant population of eland, the largest number of antelope family, making them striking sight in the park’s grasslands, the park also boasts over 400 bird species, attracting bird watchers from around the world.
You'll be transferred to the lodge/camp for the overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive and Depart to Morogoro, SGR Train to Dar es Salaam

After an early breakfast, you'll explore the beautiful Mikumi through a game drive until noon.
Later, you will enjoy a scenic 2 hours drive to Town of Morogoro while transferred to the Train Station to catch your evening train at 16:25 hrs arriving in Dar es Salaam at 18:10 hrs, and transferred back to your hotel.
