Zanzibar - Dar es salaam - Mikumi National Park

Your 2-day tour begins with the first morning ferry from Zanzibar, departing around 7:00 AM and arriving in Dar es Salaam at approximately 7:40 AM. From there, you’ll connect directly to the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) fast train, departing around 9:00 AM from the nearby terminal. The train journey takes about 1.5 hours through scenic countryside to Morogoro, where our guide will be waiting to welcome you. After a short briefing, you’ll continue with a 1.5-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy lunch inside the park before starting your game drive. The afternoon will be spent exploring the park’s rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more, with game viewing continuing until sunset. In the evening, you’ll be taken to your accommodation at the cottages inside the park, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.

Mikumi - Dar es salaam - Zanzibar

On day two, after breakfast at the cottages, you’ll head out for another exciting game drive, enjoying wildlife viewing until lunchtime. After lunch, you will be transferred back to Morogoro to catch the evening SGR train to Dar es Salaam’s Pugu station. From there, a short 20-minute taxi ride will take you to the airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, completing your memorable safari adventure.
