3-Day Mikumi NP from and Back to Zanzibar + Free Pickup

Zanzibar Island to Mikumi National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the ferry terminal for your journey to Dar es Salaam. From there, travel comfortably in business class on the SGR train to Morogoro, saving about 3 hours of travel time.

Upon arrival at Morogoro train station, our transfer driver will meet you and take you to Mikumi. Enjoy a hot lunch at your hotel and some time to rest. In the afternoon, visit a local Maasai boma for approximately 2 hours to experience their culture, traditional songs, and dances. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, begin a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. The park’s vast open plains offer excellent opportunities to spot a wide range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, and more. Pause for a scenic picnic lunch within the park before continuing your afternoon game drive, the perfect time to observe predators such as lions and leopards while enjoying the breathtaking sunset over the savannah. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mikumi National Park to Zanzibar Island
