Zanzibar/Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel and be driven to the airport in Zanzibar airport, where you will board a small plane that fly into the Arusha airport, arriving in Arusha in the morning & from there you will drive to Tarangire national park start game drives to the evening where you will head to your Accommodation in Karatu for overnight.

Upon arrival, you'll begin your guided game drive through the park, known for its large elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. With the help of your expert guide, you’ll explore the park’s diverse habitats and have a chance to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and many more species. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated areas before continuing your afternoon exploration.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater on a journey to find the black rhino; the hardest animal to spot. Inside this beautiful crater, you will experience Africa’s version of “Noah’s Ark”, with a vast variety of wildlife including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and more. In the afternoon, after lunch you will be back to Arusha then Zanzibar.

The area is also known for its high predator population, featuring lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.

Visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake located in the southwest corner of the crater, where you can spot flamingos, hippos, and various waterfowl.
