Zanzibar/Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Zanzibar International Airport, where you will board a small plane to Arusha. Arriving in the morning, you will continue by road to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day on game drives before heading to your accommodation in Karatu for an overnight stay.

Upon arrival in Tarangire, begin your guided game drive through the park, renowned for its large elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. With the help of your expert guide, explore the park's diverse habitats and look out for lion, giraffe, zebra and many more species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park's designated areas before continuing with afternoon exploration.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater on a journey to find the black rhino, one of the hardest animals to spot. Inside this remarkable crater, often called Africa's version of "Noah's Ark," you will encounter a vast variety of wildlife, including elephant, hyena, big cats, rhino and more. After lunch, return to Arusha and continue to Zanzibar.

The area is also known for its high predator population, featuring lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.

Visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake located in the southwest corner of the crater, where you can spot flamingos, hippos and various waterfowl.
