Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly received and transferred to Materuni Village at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro for a full-day excursion. Explore scenic trails through lush coffee plantations, banana groves, and Chagga villages, experiencing local culture and learning traditional coffee-making techniques. Continue through tropical rainforest to reach the stunning Materuni Waterfall, which plunges nearly 70 meters into a natural pool perfect for photos or a refreshing swim. Day 2

After breakfast at your Arusha hotel, depart for Tarangire National Park, located about 120 km southwest of Arusha. Spend the day on a full-day game drive through its diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to riverine forests and seasonal wetlands. Search for the park’s famous elephant herds, sometimes numbering in the hundreds, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a variety of antelopes.
