Depart for Dar es Salaam Airport and board your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Experience the park’s stunning scenery and abundant wildlife before retiring for the night at Ngare Lodge, where lunch and dinner will be served. Daily drinking water will also be provided.
Covering nearly 3,000 square kilometers, Tarangire National Park is famous for its immense elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Named after the Tarangire River that flows through it, the park becomes especially captivating during the dry season (June–November), when wildlife gathers in remarkable numbers, rivaling even the Serengeti. The river acts as a lifeline, drawing countless elephants along with a wide variety of other species. Celebrated as the “eighth wonder of the world,” the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera on Earth. Formed around two million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed, the crater walls now rise over 600 meters high, creating a natural sanctuary for wildlife. Spanning 19 kilometers across, the crater features diverse landscapes—lush acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and sweeping grasslands. This rich ecosystem supports more than 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, abundant birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and all the great predators.
