Day 1

Arusha – Ndutu

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading toward the Ndutu plains in the southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival, you will embark on game drives across the open plains where wildebeest herds gather for calving. The vast herds, along with predators such as lions and cheetahs, make this one of the most exciting times to visit the Serengeti ecosystem. In the evening, you will settle in at Kontiki Ndutu Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Ndutu

After breakfast, you will spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu plains, following the herds and observing the newborn calves. This is the best opportunity to witness the circle of life as predators lurk around, offering thrilling game-viewing moments. The flat, open grasslands also provide excellent photographic opportunities of both wildlife and landscapes. After an eventful day, you will return to Kontiki Ndutu Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

On your final day, you will enjoy breakfast before leaving Ndutu for the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive, exploring its unique ecosystem where animals such as elephants, zebras, buffalo, hippos, and the endangered black rhino can be found. After enjoying your picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, where your safari comes to an end.
