Kruger Island Lodge arrival

07:00: Depart from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, via shuttle to Kruger Island Safari Lodge near Hoedspruit. Guests can choose to fly or catch a private transfer at an additional cost.

12:30: Arrive, followed by lunch (not included).

13:00 -14:00: Check into your luxurious Kruger Island Safari Lodge accommodation.

15:00: Set out on a 3-hour sunset drive in Blue Canyon Reserve, complete with sundowners and snacks.

19:00 - 19:30: Return to Kruger Island Safari Lodge for a boma dinner.

Full-day Kruger safari

05:00: Depart for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park, visiting the Orpen Satara area, known for one of the highest lion concentrations in Africa, to spot the Big 5 and other wildlife (bottled water provided).

16:00 - 17:00: Return to Kruger Island Safari Lodge for a restful evening and dinner.

Full-day Panorama Route tour

09:00: Depart for a full-day tour of the Panorama Route, exploring the Drakensberg escarpment, stunning waterfalls, scenic viewpoints, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and God’s Window.

Option: Guests may choose an additional full-day Kruger safari instead, subject to availability. Please notify us in advance (no extra cost).

16:00 - 17:00: Return to Kruger Island Safari Lodge for dinner.

Optional Kruger safari & farewell

After breakfast, choose to unwind at Kruger Island Safari Lodge or join an optional 3-hour morning safari (additional cost of R1,250 per person).

Around 11:30: Depart from the lodge via shuttle to O.R. Tambo International Airport, with arrival between 17:00 and 18:00. Private transfers back to Johannesburg or flights can be arranged at additional costs.
