Day 1

Arusha – Mount Kilimanjaro

Arusha – Mount Kilimanjaro

Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. You’ll drive to the Marangu Gate, the starting point for the Kilimanjaro day hike. The trail goes through a lush rainforest, where you might see colorful birds and playful monkeys jumping between the trees. The hike is quite gentle and leads you up to Mandara Hut. Along the way, you’ll enjoy fresh mountain air, and if the sky is clear, you might see the impressive Maundi Crater. This walk gives you a real sense of Mount Kilimanjaro’s natural beauty without needing full climbing gear or experience. You'll have a nice picnic lunch on the trail. After taking photos at Mandara Hut, you’ll hike back down to the gate and drive to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and a relaxing evening. Expect to feel proud of your hike and excited for the days of safari ahead!

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your hotel, you set out for Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees. Your guide will help you spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and maybe even tree-climbing lions! You’ll drive slowly along the winding tracks, with many stops to watch animals drinking at the Tarangire River. Keep your camera ready for beautiful birds like hornbills and kingfishers. During lunch, you’ll enjoy a picnic at a scenic spot in the park. In the late afternoon, when the sun is softer, the animals come closer to the river for water, making it a perfect time for more great photos. After an exciting day, you’ll leave the park and head to your lodge in Karatu, where a warm meal and a cozy bed await. This is the perfect day to feel the spirit of African wildlife.

Day 3

Karatu – Serengeti National Park

Your journey continues as you drive from Karatu through beautiful farmland towards world-famous Serengeti National Park. As you enter the park’s gates, you might spot your first animals right away! The wide, open plains of the Serengeti are full of animals moving together. Zebras and wildebeests graze in groups, while lions may be seen resting under acacia trees or hunting in the grass. Your guide will drive to a picnic site for lunch, where you can hear the sounds of nature all around you. In the afternoon, continue your game drive, looking for elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and perhaps a leopard resting on a tree branch. The sights of the golden grass stretching endlessly make the Serengeti unforgettable. In the evening, reach your accommodation inside the park, where you’ll enjoy dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of distant lions or hyenas calling in the night.

Day 4

Today you’ll have a full day to explore the rich wildlife of Serengeti. Wake up early to catch the sunrise—the best time to see predators like lions and cheetahs hunting for their breakfast. After a hearty breakfast, begin your game drive, following animal tracks along rivers, woodlands, and open plains. Watch elephants and buffalo, try to spot a pride of lions, and look out for hippos bathing in the pools. Don’t forget to stop and enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic viewpoint. The Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, and if you’re lucky, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras on the move. In the afternoon, visit other secret corners of the park, guided by your expert ranger. Every hour brings new surprises, big and small. As the sun sets, return to the accommodation to relax, share stories, and listen to the magical sounds of the African night.

Day 5

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After breakfast, say goodbye to the Serengeti and drive towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival, descend 600 meters into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater is like a natural zoo, home to over 25,000 animals—including all the “Big Five”: lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards. Your guide will help you spot black rhinos (which are rare), hippos relaxing in pools, and pink flamingos at the lake. You’ll have lunch at a picnic site on the crater floor, surrounded by this incredible wildlife. In the afternoon, as you climb back up from the crater, keep an eye out for Maasai herdsmen with their cattle on the crater rim. Then, drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and a well-deserved rest after a day packed with amazing sights and memories.

After breakfast, it’s time to head into Lake Manyara National Park for your final safari adventure. The park is famous for its beautiful lake, tree-climbing lions, and large groups of baboons. You might see elephants moving quietly through the forest, and hippos wallowing in the water. The lake itself is a paradise for birds—look for pelicans, storks, and shimmering flocks of flamingos. Your guide will show you the hot springs and explain about the different habitats in the park, from forest to open plain to lakeshore. Enjoy your last picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
