Day 1

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel for a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, passing the lush Ngorongoro highlands. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at the park gate, surrounded by nature. Your adventure begins with an exciting afternoon game drive across Serengeti’s famous plains. Watch herds of zebras and wildebeest grazing, spot lions in the shade, and look out for elephants, giraffes, and maybe a leopard resting in a tree. By evening, you’ll settle into your accommodation inside the park. Enjoy dinner and fall asleep to the distant calls of animals, capping off your first safari day.

Descend into the world’s largest untouched volcanic caldera—a natural wonder packed with over 25,000 animals, including all of Africa’s Big Five: lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor as you observe hippos in the water and flamingos in the lakes. After an exciting afternoon, leave the crater and head to your lodge in Karatu town for a restful evening and dinner, filled with stories and memories from your safari adventure.
