Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli

Nairobi to Amboseli

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up in Nairobi. Drive through scenic plains and local villages towards Amboseli. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and settle in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro towering above the savannah.

Day 2

Amboseli

Spend the whole day exploring Amboseli. Early morning and afternoon game drives give you the best chance to see lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife. Between drives, relax at the lodge or enjoy the pool. An optional cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village can also be arranged. As the day ends, watch the sunset paint the skies over Kilimanjaro.

Day 3

Amboseli to Naivasha

Amboseli to Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive through the Great Rift Valley to the fresh waters of Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos, fish eagles, and giraffes grazing along the shoreline. Continue with a guided walk on Crescent Island, where zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles roam freely.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the bush. The Maasai Mara is known for its dense wildlife population, including lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. If visiting between July and October, you’ll have the chance to witness the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular wildlife events on earth. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

This park is home to both black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, tree-climbing lions, and, when in season, flocks of pink flamingos along the lakeshore.
