Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha and meet your professional safari guide before driving to Tarangire National Park. Begin your adventure with a game drive through a landscape famous for enormous baobab trees, seasonal swamps and some of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations. Keep your eyes open for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with your game drive. In the afternoon, leave Tarangire and proceed toward your lodge for dinner and overnight, ready for the Serengeti adventure ahead.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, travelling through the changing landscapes of Tanzania’s northern wilderness. As you approach the Serengeti, the scenery opens into vast golden plains where wildlife can appear almost anywhere. Begin your game drive upon entering the park, searching for wildebeest, zebra, giraffes, elephants and the predators that follow the herds. Depending on the season, you may encounter areas influenced by the Great Migration. Continue toward your accommodation while enjoying wildlife encounters along the way.

Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is particularly active and the cooler temperatures create excellent conditions for photography. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo and large herds of plains animals before beginning your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive provides further opportunities to observe wildlife and experience the changing landscapes. Arrive in the Ngorongoro Highlands later in the day and settle into your lodge in preparation for tomorrow’s spectacular crater experience.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive on the crater floor. This natural amphitheatre is home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos and, with luck, black rhino. After your game drive and picnic lunch, ascend the crater and continue toward Lake Manyara. Depending on time, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, known for its diverse habitats, birdlife, elephants, giraffes and tree-climbing lions. Overnight near Manyara or Karatu.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, exploring its forests, open areas and lakeshore habitats. Look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, buffalo and colourful birdlife while enjoying the peaceful scenery. After the game drive, depart the park and drive to Arusha for your onward flight to Zanzibar. This final journey brings together four of Tanzania’s most iconic safari destinations before you return to the beaches of Zanzibar with five days of unforgettable wildlife experiences.
