Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will proceed to your terminal for a domestic flight to Seronera Airstrip in the Central Serengeti. Upon landing, your dedicated safari guide will welcome you and begin your adventure.

The Central Serengeti, centered around the lush Seronera Valley, is a year-round wildlife haven known for its golden plains, granite kopjes, and winding rivers. It offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five, with lions lounging on rocks, leopards in trees, and cheetahs scanning the grasslands. It’s also one of the best places to witness the Great Migration, as massive herds of wildebeest and zebra move in search of fresh grazing.

Final Game drive in Serengeti heading to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, embark on your final game drive through the iconic Serengeti National Park. This is a great opportunity to witness the wildlife during the cooler morning hours, when predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards are often more active. Keep an eye out for herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife as you traverse the vast plains one last time.

Following the game drive, begin your scenic journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers spectacular views of the highlands and rural Tanzanian landscapes. Upon arrival, ascend the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater and check in at your lodge located on or near the crater rim. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, with the anticipation of descending into the crater for a game drive the following day.

Ngorongoro Crater Game drive and transfer to the Airport for Departure

This morning, after an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," the crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – as well as hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. The lush landscape and dramatic scenery offer a truly unforgettable safari experience.

Following your game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater or on the crater rim. After lunch, begin your journey back towards the airport in time to catch your international flight home.
