Rise early for a full day of game drives in the Mara. With picnic lunch packed, you’ll spend the day exploring different corners of the reserve. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, and abundant plains game. Between July and October, the Great Migration transforms the reserve into a dramatic stage, with wildebeest and zebras crossing rivers in search of greener pastures. After breakfast, depart the Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey passes through scenic farmlands and highlands before reaching the Rift Valley floor. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, then enjoy an afternoon game drive. Nakuru is renowned for its rhino sanctuary, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, and birdlife, including pelicans and flamingos depending on the season. Leopards are occasionally spotted in the woodlands, and the park’s compact size makes for rewarding game drives. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

On arrival in Mombasa, meet your driver and transfer south to Diani Beach. Arrive at your oceanfront resort in the afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax on the beach or by the pool.
