Morning

7:30 AM: Pick-up from Arusha or Moshi by your Joja-branded safari vehicle, with cold towels and fresh Tanzanian coffee onboard.

8:00 AM: Depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2–2.5 hrs).

Scenic briefing en route with storytelling from your Jojas guide about Tarangire’s ancient elephant migration paths.

Midday

12:30 PM: Picnic lunch under the shade of a baobab tree.

Game drive begins: Spot herds of elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and over 500 bird species.

Explore the Tarangire River ecosystem, a magnet for wildlife during the dry season.

Evening

5:30 PM: Exit park and head to a Jojas Partner Lodge or Luxury Tented Camp near Lake Manyara.

7:00 PM: Campfire dinner with local stories and optional cultural performance (Maasai dance or drumming night).

Morning

7:00 AM: Breakfast at the lodge.

8:00 AM: Enter Lake Manyara National Park – known for its groundwater forest, flamingo-dotted lake, and tree-climbing lions.

Drive through fig and mahogany forest — look for monkeys, elephants, and birdlife (including pelicans and flamingos).

Visit the hot springs (Maji Moto) and learn their local legends from your guide.

Midday

12:30 PM: Bush lunch in a safe, scenic spot overlooking the lake.

Optional 1-hr cultural visit in nearby Mto wa Mbu Village – banana plantation walk, local market, or wood carving workshop with local artisans (part of Jojas Community Partnership Program).

Evening

4:30 PM: Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands (approx. 1.5 hrs).

Arrive at lodge on the crater rim in time for sunset over the caldera.
