Your safari adventure begins today! After breakfast in Arusha (or pick-up from your hotel/airport), you will meet your professional driver-guide and start your journey to Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about 2–3 hours.

Upon entering Tarangire National Park, you are welcomed by a vast wilderness famous for its towering baobab trees and the seasonal Tarangire River, a lifeline for wildlife during the dry months. The park is often referred to as the “home of elephants” thanks to its impressive herds, sometimes numbering in the hundreds.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park, surrounded by the sounds of nature. After breakfast, you will depart Tarangire and begin the drive through the rolling hills of the Ngorongoro highlands. As you continue, the landscape slowly opens into the vast grasslands of the Serengeti, one of the most iconic safari destinations in the world.

By early afternoon, you will arrive at the park gate and begin your first game drive in the Serengeti. Keep your eyes open for elephants feeding near the acacia trees, prides of lions resting under the shade, cheetahs scanning the horizon for prey, and herds of wildebeest and zebras stretching far into the distance.

Even outside of migration, Serengeti promises remarkable encounters, with giraffes, hyenas, buffalo, and abundant birdlife filling the landscape.

As the sun begins to set, you will make your way to your lodge or tented camp inside the park. Here, a warm dinner awaits, followed by an evening around the campfire or relaxing under a sky filled with brilliant stars, the sounds of the Serengeti echoing loudly.

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast and diverse landscapes of the Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, you will set out on a morning game drive, when the wildlife is most active. Watch as lions and leopards begin their day, herds of elephants wander across the plains, and giraffes gracefully browse the treetops.

The Serengeti is also home to abundant herbivores, including wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and buffalo, providing constant opportunities for wildlife sightings and photography. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, a breathtaking spectacle of thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving together across the plains, often accompanied by predators.
