Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Today, you’ll explore Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds. Expect incredible wildlife encounters, from majestic elephants to big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, along with a variety of herbivores.

Your game drive will bring you close to the action. At midday, enjoy lunch near the Tarangire River, where playful monkeys may try to sneak a bite of your meal.

Later, you will be transferred to Ngare Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of highlands, open plains, and Maasai villages, with a stop at a scenic viewpoint for photos.
As you continue, the landscape opens into the vast Serengeti plains. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will have lunch at your camp or a picnic site, followed by a short rest.
Later, you will head out for an exciting game drive, where you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest in their natural habitat. As the day ends, you will return to Serengeti Wildebeest Camp for dinner and an overnight stay under the African sky.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Today, you will start your day bright and early at 6:00 am with an exciting sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light creates perfect viewing conditions. You may spot predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as herds of zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes moving across the plains.

After the drive, you will stop at a scenic picnic site to enjoy a delicious bush breakfast surrounded by nature. You will then continue with your game drive, exploring more areas and increasing your chances of encountering a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat.

Around midday, you will return to camp for a hot lunch and a short rest. Later, you will pack your belongings and depart for Ngorongoro, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way as the landscape changes.

By evening, you will arrive at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views of the crater.

Day 5

This morning, after an early breakfast, you will descend into the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. As you make your way down the crater walls, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery and a rich concentration of wildlife in a relatively small area. The crater floor is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and hyenas, and with a bit of luck, you may even spot the rare and elusive black rhino.
During your game drive, you will enjoy a break for lunch, either at a scenic picnic site near Hippo Lake, where you can relax and watch hippos in their natural habitat, or return to camp for a hot meal, depending on your preference.
After a rewarding day of exploration, you will ascend the crater and continue your journey to Ikumbi Safari Lodge. Upon arrival, you will have time to unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.

After enjoying breakfast, you'll take a short 5-minute drive to the entrance gate of Lake Manyara National Park.

This park, renowned for its tree-climbing lions, may be small in size, but it boasts remarkable diversity. A prominent feature is the salt lake that stretches across a significant portion of the park.

It undergoes seasonal fluctuations, creating a habitat for thousands of graceful flamingos and more than 300 other bird species.

The landscape is a captivating blend of grassy plains, woodlands teeming with primates, and cliffs adorned with majestic baobab trees.

You can expect to be back in Arusha at around 4:00 pm. You will be transferred to the Greenside Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be heading to Materuni village near Kilimanjaro. A 45-minute hike will lead you to the stunning Materuni Waterfall, followed by an enlightening coffee tour. You'll spend the first half of the day immersed in these experiences.

After having enjoyed the scenery, you'll slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch.

Here, you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted, and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances—a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

You will also have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer. To conclude, you will be conveniently transported to the airport or your hotel in the evening.
