After pick-up from your hotel or the airport, you will set off for Tarangire National Park, renowned as Tanzania’s third-largest park and famous for its impressive elephant herds. The park’s striking baobab trees dominate the landscape, creating a unique backdrop as wildlife gathers beneath their shade. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts an incredible concentration of animals, especially during the dry season. Here, you may spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants—sometimes numbering up to 6,000. You will enjoy a full game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park before heading to Mto wa mbu for overnight.

After breakfast, you will set off on a scenic journey to Serengeti National Park, carrying a packed lunch for the day. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains before heading back to Embalakai Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s oldest and most celebrated wildlife reserve, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and acclaimed as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The park is world-renowned for the Great Migration, a breathtaking spectacle where millions of wildebeest move across the savannah, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles in search of greener pastures. Beyond the migration, the Serengeti remains a year-round haven for exceptional wildlife viewing. Here, you may encounter large buffalo herds, roaming elephants, towering giraffes, and an impressive variety of antelope species, including eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle.

Day 3

Today, you will dedicate the full day to exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park.

Your adventure begins at sunrise with an early morning game drive, the perfect time to witness predators returning from their night hunts and herbivores starting their day. As you journey across the park, you’ll be immersed in breathtaking landscapes and have the chance to spot the famous Big Five along with countless other species.

A hot lunch will be served at your campsite before heading out again in the afternoon for more wildlife viewing. The Serengeti is renowned not only for its large mammal population but also for its incredible birdlife, with over 500 recorded species, including ostriches, secretary birds, and soaring black eagles.

As the sun sets over the endless savannah, you’ll return to your camp for a freshly prepared dinner and a relaxing overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 4

You will begin your day with an early breakfast at around 5:30 am before descending nearly 600 meters into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including the legendary Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. The crater is also a haven for birdlife, with flamingos often gathering in striking numbers along the shores of its soda lakes.

During your full-day safari, you will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by the beauty of its diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. After approximately 6 to 7 hours of exploration and game viewing on the crater floor, you will ascend back to the rim. From here, you will collect your belongings from the campsite before embarking on the drive back to Arusha for your overnight stay, or continuing directly to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
