Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private safari guide before departing for the world-famous Masai Mara. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to Oldarpoi Camp, beautifully situated within the community-owned Nashulai Conservancy.
After check-in, enjoy a guided walking safari through the conservancy. This leisurely walk serves as an ideal warm-up for your upcoming Mt. Kenya trek while introducing you to the wildlife of the eastern Greater Mara–Siana ecosystem. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you'll encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and other wildlife at close range, while also discovering animal tracks, birdlife, and the smaller creatures often missed on game drives.
If you prefer, you may instead enjoy a game drive through the 5,000-acre conservancy in search of wildlife from the comfort of your safari vehicle.
After dinner, you may choose to join an optional night game drive.

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch boxes for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your safari explores the Sekenani area before continuing towards the wildlife-rich Musiara sector, renowned for its permanent marshes, riverine forests, and exceptional concentrations of wildlife.
The Masai Mara boasts Kenya's highest density of wildlife and offers outstanding opportunities to encounter the Big Five. Lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards are regularly seen, while the marshlands around Musiara attract enormous numbers of herbivores and predators throughout the year. The area is also famous as the home of the legendary Marsh Pride of lions.
Throughout the day, your guide will position the vehicle for the best wildlife encounters while sharing fascinating insights into animal behaviour, ecology, and conservation. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the African wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Lake Nakuru, with an optional stop at a Maasai village to experience the traditions of the Maasai people. Arrive in Nakuru in the afternoon, check in at your hotel, and enjoy lunch. Later, set out for a game drive around the lake (20 minutes distance), known for its flamingo populations, rhinos, and diverse bird species. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 4

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park when wildlife is at its most active. This is an excellent opportunity for final rhino sightings and bird photography before departing the park.
Later, travel north across Kenya's fertile highlands to the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy on the Laikipia Plateau. Upon entering the conservancy, enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way to your camp, which is located inside the conservancy. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is widely regarded as one of Africa's most successful wildlife conservation initiatives. It is home to one of the continent's largest populations of southern white and eastern black rhinos, making it a vital stronghold for rhino conservation. The conservancy also supports healthy populations of lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and other iconic African wildlife.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya's premier wildlife destinations. Ol Pejeta has the second-highest wildlife density in Kenya after the Greater Masai Mara ecosystem and supports the country's largest lion population outside the Mara, alongside healthy populations of rhinos, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and other plains game.
Alternatively, you may choose the optional Lion Tracking Experience. Several members of Ol Pejeta's lion prides are fitted with radio collars, giving visitors the rare privilege of accompanying conservation researchers as they track the lions, monitor their movements, and learn about their behaviour in the wild.
After your morning activities, check out and transfer to Peaks Hotel for lunch. Spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing and preparing for your Mt. Kenya climb, which begins the following morning.

Today is set aside for relaxation and recovery after your safari adventure. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before spending the day at Peaks Hotel, where you can unwind, recharge, and prepare for the days ahead on Mt. Kenya. You may choose to relax in the gardens, enjoy the fresh mountain air, or take a short stroll around the hotel grounds. In the evening, your mountain guide will conduct a trek briefing and equipment check to ensure you are fully prepared for tomorrow's ascent.

After breakfast, drive 30 minutes to Sirimon Gate (2,650m). Begin your trek through montane forest and bamboo zone, ascending steadily to Judmaier Camp (Old Moses, 3,300m). Arrive by lunchtime to find your cook waiting with a hot meal. Spend the afternoon exploring the mountain surroundings and resting. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 8
Judmaier – Mackinder Valley – Shipton Camp

Today’s hike takes you higher into the alpine zone, passing moorland and giant lobelias before entering the breathtaking Mackinder Valley—a dramatic U-shaped glacial valley and one of the most picturesque sections of the trail. Arrive at Shipton Camp (4,200m) around 3:00 pm for a hot lunch. The afternoon is reserved for acclimatization walks and preparation for the summit. Overnight at Shipton Camp.
Day 9

Rise at 3:00 am for your summit attempt. Hike under starlight and reach Point Lenana (4,985m) at sunrise, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the peaks and plains below. After photos and celebrations, descend to Mintos Camp for breakfast, then continue down the scenic Chogoria route. If energy and time allow, make a short detour to the stunning Nithi Falls. Arrive at Chogoria Bandas (2,950m) in the late afternoon for a hot meal, relaxation, and overnight stay.
