4-Day Nakuru, Naivasha and Maasai Mara Safari

Arrival in Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha

You shall be picked at your hotel or the airport in the morning and proceed to Lake Nakuru past the Great Rift valley. Arrival in Lake Nakuru National Park: note that the flamingo numbers have been reducing due to climate change. We shall go for a mid morning game drive in this stunning park. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered species of wild animals. You will have an opportunity to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore. The black rhino is also a resident of the park.
The few quantity of flamingos is accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers among others.

We shall proceed to Lake Naivasha after the game drive for lunch and a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.

Depart Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After a delicious breakfast, we shall check out and depart Naivasha and drive to the famous Maasai Mara game reserve, home to the big five animals.
We shall check in and have lunch with a short rest and later proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive.

Full-day Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch near the Mara River, close to the famous migration crossing area.

Morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five, as well as the countless other species that reside in the vast reserve.

We expect to see a wide variety of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, zebras, hippos, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, hartebeest, wildebeest, lions and cheetahs among others. After lunch, you have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village (extra cost).

In the months of July and August, millions of animals mostly wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara before returning to Tanzania between from October onwards.

Departure from Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, you will depart from the safari camp at 10:00am. Take in the last glimpses of the wildlife and landscapes as you exit this extraordinary park.
You will then journey back to Nairobi. Your unforgettable Masai Mara safari concludes upon arrival in the city.
