Day 1-2

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive across Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, dotted with rolling hills, farmlands, and Maasai homesteads. Arrive at the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, a vast expanse of golden plains teeming with wildlife.

Check in at Ilkeliani Lodge, a boutique luxury tented camp nestled along the Talek River. Here, modern comfort meets the raw beauty of the wilderness – think elegant tents with private decks overlooking the savannah.

Over the next two days, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. The Mara is renowned for the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo – as well as cheetahs and hyenas.

Between July and October, witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River in a spectacle of survival.

Evenings are magical, with sundowners on the plains, followed by dinner under a canopy of stars and the distant roar of lions.
