Day 2

Game drive in Maasai Mara

Game drive in Maasai Mara

• A full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara focuses entirely on wildlife, offering diverse sightings from dawn to dusk. Early in the day, predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are active, often seen hunting or patrolling. As the plains warm up, large herds of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, and various antelope species appear across the savannah. River areas reveal hippos, crocodiles, and rich birdlife including eagles and storks. Midday can be quieter, but shaded areas may hide leopards or, with luck, a black rhino. As the day cools, animals become active again, big cats begin moving, and scavengers gather near any kills. The golden evening light brings dramatic views of wildlife against the horizon, ending a full, uninterrupted day immersed in the Mara’s ecosystem.

• Dinner and overnight at your camp.
