Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha then drive to Tarangire National Park for Game Drive

Transfer Arusha – Tarangire: 2.5 hours

Program Of the day: Take a local flight from Zanzibar Airport and fly directly to Arusha Airport upon landing in Arusha Airport meet our Safari Guide from our office will pick you up from the Airport and drive to Tarangire National Park for the game drive for wildlife sighting while carrying lunch boxes. After your game drive, you will be transferred to your accommodation located in Karatu village where we stop for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the Park.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive then transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar

Transfer Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater: 40 minutes

Program Of the day: Get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast and after breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and then depart to Ngorongoro for game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater for wildlife sighting, while carrying lunch boxes. Once game drive is done you will be transferred back to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar where our service ends.

This Park has a beautiful environment with shimmering lakes and wetlands, patches of acacia woodland, and broad savannah hidden behind the sheer volcanic walls. The journey into the Crater is an adventure in and of itself, and once you arrive at the bottom, you'll soon be surrounded by over 500 different kinds of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest. The Crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.
