Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire National Park
Transfer Arusha to Tarangire National Park: 2 hours
Programme of the day: Take a local flight from Zanzibar Airport directly to Arusha Airport. Upon landing in Arusha, you will be met by our safari guide, who will pick you up from the airport and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive, with lunch boxes provided. After your game drive, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Karatu village, where you can relax before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.
The park is named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. This "river of warthogs" is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the Dry season. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks and hartebeests. These animals are closely followed by a variety of predators, including lions and leopards. Lunch will be served at a picnic site inside the park.

Programme of the day: Get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and depart for Ngorongoro to enjoy a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, with lunch boxes provided. Once the game drive is complete, you will be transferred back to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your own arranged flight back home or to your next destination, where our service ends.
This park offers a beautiful environment with shimmering lakes and wetlands, patches of acacia woodland and broad savannah hidden behind sheer volcanic walls. The journey into the crater is an adventure in itself, and once you arrive at the bottom, you will be surrounded by over 500 species of birds, as well as zebras, gazelles and wildebeests.
