Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration (July–October), where millions of wildebeest and zebra move in search of greener pastures, pursued by predators in thrilling scenes of survival. Another full day gives you the opportunity to explore different regions of the reserve. Each corner of the Mara tells a different story: from rolling savannahs dotted with acacia trees to riverine forests sheltering leopards. Early mornings are especially rewarding, offering a chance to see predators on the hunt. Midday, you can relax at your lodge or continue on a bush picnic safari. Optional activities today include a hot air balloon ride at sunrise for a bird’s-eye view of the wildlife below, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush, or a cultural visit to a Maasai village to learn about the customs, traditions, and dances of the Maasai people. By evening, return to your lodge for dinner under the starlit sky.

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara and transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy stunning aerial views as you soar over the Rift Valley and central Kenya before descending into Amboseli. On arrival, you’ll be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli. Known as the “Land of Giants,” Amboseli is world-famous for its large elephant herds that roam against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. The park’s open landscapes also host lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. End the day watching the sun set behind Kilimanjaro — one of Africa’s most iconic views.
