Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, enjoying sweeping views of escarpments and farmlands along the way. Arrive in the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive across the Mara’s vast savannahs, where elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and prides of lions roam freely. Full Day Game Drive

Spend the entire day exploring the wonders of the Mara. After breakfast, venture out with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive that allows you to reach deeper areas of the park. Look out for the Big Five and an array of predators including cheetahs and leopards. If traveling between July and October, you may witness the dramatic Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains and rivers in search of fresh grazing. Return to camp in the evening, reflecting on the day’s sightings.

Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive around the shimmering alkaline lake. Nakuru is renowned for its populations of black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and abundant birdlife, including flamingos, pelicans, and fish eagles. Lions and leopards are also present in the surrounding acacia forests. End the day with views of the lake at sunset before dinner at your lodge.
