After breakfast, you’ll leave Karatu and head towards the Serengeti National Park. The drive takes around 4 to 5 hours, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Upon arrival in the Serengeti, embark on a game drive, exploring the vast plains and searching for the rich wildlife the park is famous for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and possibly the great migration herds depending on the season. Stay overnight in a lodge or tented camp within the Serengeti.

Wake up early and enjoy a full day of game driving in the Ndutu region, part of the southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This area is famous for its wildlife concentrations, especially during the Great Migration when massive herds gather to calve. Look out for predators like lions and cheetahs that take advantage of the migration. Have a picnic lunch during your game drive, then return to your lodge or camp in Ndutu for the night.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, take a last morning game drive in Ndutu before starting your journey back towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at the crater rim in the afternoon, take in the spectacular views, and spend the night at a lodge perched on the crater’s edge.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim and driving back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon or early evening, where your safari concludes.
