Fly From Zanzibar to Arusha - Tarangire National Park

You’ll begin your journey with a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar, followed by a scenic one-hour flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your guide will warmly welcome you and take you for breakfast at a nearby hotel a perfect way to refresh before your adventure begins.

After breakfast, enjoy a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and the largest elephant population in Tanzania.

Your safari begins in a 4x4 vehicle with a pop-up roof, perfect for wildlife viewing. You'll explore open savannas, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River a vital water source that draws herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, impalas, elands, and warthogs.

Keep watch for lions, leopards, and a variety of birdlife in this rich ecosystem.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Airport to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders. Home to over 120 animal species, including the Big Five, it’s one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino and large pods of hippos in the water.

From your open-roof vehicle, enjoy close-up views and fantastic photo opportunities of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, wildebeest, zebras, antelope, buffalo, and more. The crater offers a concentrated safari experience like no other.

Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool a serene spot where you can dine just a few feet from these massive creatures. After your game drive, you’ll return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival, your designated driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the incredible journey you’ve just completed.
