1-Day Zanzibar to Mikumi by Flight

Start your day trip from Zanzibar to Mikumi with an early morning flight from Zanzibar International Airport to Mikumi Airstrip. Be sure to arrive at the airport early to allow enough time for check-in and security clearance. Upon landing, you’ll be welcomed by a professional driver-guide who will transfer you to Mikumi National Park.

Mid-morning to afternoon:
Enjoy an exciting game drive through Mikumi National Park, famous for its rich wildlife and open savannah landscapes. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelope species. Depending on your safari package, you’ll stop for a packed lunch at one of the park’s scenic picnic spots.

Evening:
After an action-packed safari, return to Mikumi Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, arriving in the evening—bringing your adventure-filled day to a close.
