Day 1
Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
Early morning pick up from your residence/hotel, and commencing the journey to Tsavo East National Park via the Mombasa-Nairobi highway (the explorers' route).
The 3-hour (120km) drive takes us to the southern entry point of the Tsavo East National Park, where we stop briefly for refreshments (optional). You'll proceed to the park, where you'll commence wildlife-viewing upon entry.
Look out for elephant, giraffe, lion, cheetah, buffalo, among many other wildlife. An afternoon game drive is scheduled later in the day, after lunch. The relaxed wildlife-viewing takes you on the trails of the Big Five with magnificent views of the African sunset.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Day 2
Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park
The drive from Tsavo East to Tsavo West is approximately 60 km and takes about one hour.
You will be up before sunrise! Dawn finds you set and ready for your early morning game drive. You'll experience the splendor of an African sunrise that engulfs the savannah as you traverse the vast Tsavo East Park in search of the early grazers and hunters.
A relaxed mid-morning game drive then follows. Later, you'll proceed to the Tsavo West National Park, where you'll visit the rhino sanctuary and the Mzima Springs.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3
Tsavo West National Park to Mombasa
Tsavo West National Park to Mombasa
You'll conclude your 3-day safari in style! You'll be out at sunrise for a pre-breakfast game drive. This is when the park is at its best, with predators out on the hunt and the grazers browsing the soft, dewy vegetation. Natural colors dominate the scenic volcanic terrain.
You will venture out again, this time to visit the Mzima Springs with more game viewing en route. At the Mzima Springs, you will take a nature walk as you marvel at the underground source of sparkling, clear waters and the surrounding greenery, which is a welcome reprieve in this semi-desert terrain. You'll view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish, and unique migratory birds.
Later, you'll depart Tsavo West and head to the Kenyan coast. Later, you will be dropped off.
